The brightest midnight sky can be found in the most desolate place on earth — Antarctica. This frozen landscape’s midnight sky is illuminated by pure reflection giving off a deep navy color. This unique color is the foundation for the project. Each shoe was carefully designed to represent the midnight sky, the deep black foreground, and the white snow filled landscape. The connection between the city street and the end of the earth has never been more seamless. Welcome to “Midnight in Antarctica.” This collaborative effort was created by Southern California’s Publish and Outerwear house The North Face. In this limited edition capsule collection, you will see three distinct shoes. The Ultra Extreme II GTX is a full Gore-Tex boot ideally for the most severe conditions. This boot is perfect for all hiking terrains, in addition to beyond cold temperatures. The Back to Berkeley boot is a classic hiker redone in a full leather tonal upper. While you relax and cool down, the Thermoball Traction Mule is the perfect slide for your feet to recover from a long journey.
